Kitsap County is known for many things—stunning waterfront homes, charming small towns, and breathtaking PNW views. But did you know it’s also home to one of the most haunted mansions in Washington? Well, I found out the fun way (if you consider possibly being haunted fun).

I recently braved my first-ever ghost hunt at the Walker-Ames Mansion in Port Gamble, WA, and let’s just say…it was an experience. Was it terrifying? A little. Did I make it out unscathed? Debatable. Would I do it again? Absolutely.
